Card Ministry
The Wishing Well Card Ministry is a caring outreach that shares Christ’s love through handwritten cards, encouraging messages, and heartfelt prayers. Whether someone is celebrating a joyful milestone, facing illness, grieving a loss, or simply in need of encouragement, our ministry seeks to remind them that they are loved, remembered, and never alone.
Members and friends of our church are invited to stop by the Dotson Café to sign a card or write a personal note of encouragement. Each message is a simple yet meaningful expression of God’s love and the care of our church family. Pastor Peter prayerfully delivers these cards during his pastoral visits, offering comfort, hope, and a tangible reminder that no one walks through life’s challenges alone.
If you know someone who would be encouraged by receiving a card, we invite you to share their name with us. Donations of get well, thinking of you, or blank cards are also appreciated. Together, we can be a source of hope and encouragement by sharing Christ’s love—one card, one prayer, and one heart at a time.
A Flood of Love, Hope, and Prayer
One of the greatest blessings of this ministry is hearing how God uses these simple cards in meaningful ways. One recipient shared that she gathered with her family to read each card together, cherishing the love and encouragement sent by our church members. Another told us that the heartfelt messages brought tears to his eyes, reminding him that he was not alone and that so many people were praying for him. These stories remind us that even a few sincere words, written with love, can become a powerful expression of God’s care and encouragement.
